PHI Foundation and Atlantic City Electric Donates $26K to Local Big Brothers Big Sisters Agency
PHI Community Foundation and Atlantic City Electric recently donated $26,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Burlington, Camden & Gloucester County. PHI Community Foundation and Atlantic City Electric raised monies via their 10th Annual Charity Golf Classic in September and donated the proceeds to three charitable organizations in the South Jersey community. Monies will support our agency's community and school-based mentoring programs.
Celebrating Helping Hands at our Annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner!
On Thursday, January
22nd, we held our annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner at the Coastline
Restaurant in Cherry Hill. At the dinner we celebrated our Bigs of the Year to
include Angel Ogoemesim and Brian Matthews- in our site based program
and Tameka Lee and John Carr in our community based program.
Additionally, we presented Avnet and PostNet with our
Community Leadership Award; Board Member Nancy Sommer with the
Mansdoerfer/Laird Award; Peggy Cante with the Creamer Award and the Riverside
Post Office with the Start Something Award.
Special thanks to the
many volunteers who attended this special event! We hope to see more of you at
this annual event next year.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Burlington, Camden & Gloucester Counties Appoints Interim CEO
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Burlington, Camden & Gloucester Counties (BBBS) announces the appointment of Cristin Holloway as Interim President & Chief Executive Officer. Effective Sept. 27, Cristin will replace Robert Jakubowski, who served the agency in various capacities for more than 20 years.
