Robert Jakubowski
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Jakubowski began serving as a volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters in 1992. He joined the staff as CEO in 2001. In those years the agency has grown to serve more children. In 2008, Mr. Jakubowski lead a merger between two Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies creating a more efficient agency providing high quality, safe programs for the youth in our community. Mr. Jakubowski has a Masters Degree from Rutgers University. Prior to becoming the director for Big Brothers Big Sisters, Mr. Jakubowski was the Executive Director for Mothers Against Drunk Driving – New Jersey State Office for five and half years and he was also an adjunct professor at Mercer County Community College for seven years.

Mr. Jakubowski community involvement includes serving as the Board Chair of Big Brothers Big Sisters Foundation of New Jersey, President of the Camden County Council of Executives at the United Way, non-voting Board member for United Way of Camden County and United Way of Burlington County, two time chair of the Non-profit campaign unit for United Way and Camden County and currently service as a Board member for Cross Roads Camp and Retreat Center. Mr. Jakubowski is also involved locally with the Audubon Fathers’ Association and coaching his daughter’s sports teams.
